Tired of Candles? Try Scented Oils Instead!

Ever since the birth of my little Lexi, I've been hesitant to use my candles to scent my home because of the concern about the fumes emitted.  So instead I've been using natural oils and I'll let you in on my secret source - it's a place called A Touch of Country Magic, a small privately owned company nestled in the hill of Georgia. They were the source of the cinnamon brooms that my grocery store carries in the Fall and after looking them up, they have a bunch of other products including scented oils at an incredible price!  (For example, it's $5.30 for 1 ounce of oil, $3.30 for a half ounce).

To use the oils, place a few drops in some water and simmer on the stove.  Alternatively, you can place a few dabs on a cotton ball and place that in the bathroom, car, bottom of a diaper pail or other places that need to be freshened up.  The oil can also be used to freshen up your existing potpourris or, in my case, my cinnamon brooms. Two ounces will last me a few months and the scents come in cinnamon, cinnamon orange, lavender, rose, strawberry, sandlewood, cedar, grapefruit, pear, peach, clove, chocolate, rosemary, patchouli, Christmas tree scent, lily of the valley, vanilla, apple, bergamot, eucalyptus, freesia, gardenia, tea tree and so much more.

Try them out - you'll love it!
